Micki
Micki is a stylist and the founder of MK Lush. Her 18 years of experience in the industry began when she discovered her passion for cosmetology while attending Merrell University of Beauty Arts & Science.
After graduating, Micki found a position working in a salon that used the L’Oreal Professionnel brand. Through many continuing education classes with some of the most elite educators in the biz, she decided to become an educator with the biggest beauty brand in the world, L’Oréal Professionnel, and continued to implement what she learned behind the chair.
Micki’s desire to build her own business was largely inspired by her belief in self-love/self-care. People are her passion, and making them feel and look beautiful, inside and out, is her mission. Whether it be her guests or her team members, Micki wants to help inspire others to believe in themselves and find their inner beauty, that, in return, will allow them to be the best versions of themselves. Olivya Peters
Cosmetologist & Lash Technician
Olivya is a licensed cosmetologist and lash technician. Growing up a small town in Northeast Missouri, there was a modest amount of expansion for Olivya’s true passion: making guests look and feel beautiful. She decided to move to Columbia and attended Paul Mitchell the School Missouri Columbia and graduated in 2019. She then learned she had a true fascination for eyelash extensions and lifts, making all lash services her main skill focus! Olivya has a meticulous and detail-oriented eye. As challenging as it is to perform such tedious services, Olivya is always up for a challenge! She likes educating her guests on the importance of integrity and proper care of eyelashes after services. She always loves seeing the looks and smiles on her guest’s faces after services, which is the exact reason why she does what she does!
Brittney Stringer
Cosmetologist & Color Specialist
Brittney has been a passionate cosmetologist for 17 years. She obtained her Barber’s license at the Academy of Hair & Design and continued on to get her Cosmetology license from Northwest Hair Academy in Washington state. After 10 years in Washington, she decided to make Columbia her home.
Brittney specializes in a variety of coloring services from vivids and balayage to platinum cards and foiling. She offers curly hair services and haircuts for men, women and children. Brittney also has experience working with special needs children. She also offers Bridal, formal styling and make-up services.
Brittney is extremely committed to making every guest look and feel their best!

Buenos dias! Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Marina perfected her skills in salons in Boca Raton, Florida for 17 years. She also started a salon in Henderson, Nevada, a suburb of Las Vegas, where she worked for another 4 years learning more about west coast styles.
Marina is a wife and a mother of three. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Marina’s passion is hair and she has experience in hair extensions, haircuts for men, women and children, hair coloring, highlights, low lights, bridal services, Updo Hair Styles, Blow Out Services and Keratin treatment.
Marina’s #1 priority is customer service and she takes pride in making the customer feel comfortable and understanding their expectations.
She is a licensed Cosmetologist in Missouri, Florida and Nevada and she has over 20 years of experience.

Cosmetologist, Color/ Braiding Specialist
Kylie is a Cosmetologist who has known her true passion since she was 13 years old. She attended The Davis Hart Cosmetology Institute during her junior and senior year of high school, graduating from both at the same time! Kylie is dedicated to continuing her education, with the completion of a six-month Associate Program at MK Lush, Balayage training, and a Permanent Straightening course. She loves keeping herself knowledgeable and up-to-date on the newest techniques/trends. She is committed to figuring out what is best and maintainable for her guests. Kylie’s goal is to have you leaving with a whole new attitude about yourself!
Kylie specializes in Color and Foiling. She is experienced in Highlights, Lowlights, Vivid Colors, Balayage, Haircuts for women and children, and Bridal Hair services!
Carrissa Thorp
Esthetician/Lash Specialist
Carrissa began her journey in the amazing world of skincare after moving to Columbia in 2016. She attended The American College of Hair Design in Sedalia, MO which is her hometown. Carrissa specializes in a variety of services from Facials, Peels, Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, Lash Extensions, Brow Lamination and Body Waxing. Carrissa’s true passion is making people feel and look their absolute best!
